I had a great day and a not so great day. I work on call for Macy's in the special events department. Today I work The Clinton Kelly Fashion Show event (The guy from What Not to Wear). I started my day by watching Clinton Kelly review each outfit that the models would be wearing for the show. He looked so fabulous and stylish, and I found his critique interesting. After the reveiw I had to do all of the "go-backs" for the rest of the day. The go-backs are all of the shoes, clothes, accesories, etc. that will not be used in the show. I had to run up and down the Downtown Seattle Macy's with a few other coworkers to put each and every item back in their exact place. It is a miserable thing to do. I wore heels too! My feet were aching after being on foot for 7 hrs with no break, and the go-backs seemed never ending. I was relieved when we finished all the go backs (including the clothes, shoes, and accessories that the models wore for the show). My day became bright at the end though when I went back to the model fitting room. My special events coworkers and I took pictures with Mr. Kelly and chatted a little with him. That was the highlight of my miserable day. I wish I could have seen the show :(.
